The Culver City Block Party is a celebration of the arts and culture. The festivities will include a full schedule of performances featuring a variety of music, dance, and entertainment from Los Angeles for all ages. An assortment of art workshops with professional artists will provide children with the opportunity to create their own art pieces. Including 3D Chalk Art will fill the streets of hip and historic downtown Culver City as they compete for the coveted Culver Cup and $1000 grand prize!
The centennial year party is a FREE downtown block party, as well as the ticketed “Taste of Culver City.” You’ll find a whole mix of entertainment in Downtown Culver City, from a cappella singers to samba dancers, indie rock musicians to poets and comedians to gymnasts.
The ticketed portion of the event includes a tasting with sips and bites from local spots like Akasha, City Tavern, the Culver Hotel, Rush Street, Wildcraft, Spinfish, Essential Chocolate Desserts, Grilliant, Hanjip, Janga, Kay n’ Dave’s, K-Zo, LaRocco’s Pizzeria and more.
