Curious to know about all the cool stuff you’ve been hearing about in the Arts District?? Well, this Sunday, August 28th head down to that sometimes scary, most times grungy part of the DTLA (you know, that stretch along Alameda down the street from the Grayhound Station) that is experiencing loads of changes…come check out Artist in Residence @ ROW DTLA. What (and where) the hell is ROW DTLA? It’s 30 acres of historic buildings that are being reimagined and reused as creative spaces, artists galleries, restaurants, gardens, and more for unique merchants. No shit you say! Come see it for yourself and see why Downtown LA Real Estate is SO HOT RIGHT NOW (oh, and I can help 🙂 )
This is all happening during Smorgasburg LA, an open-air shopping experience from the realms of design, craft, style, vintage, wellness, and more (Smorgasburg is open every Sunday, 10am-5pm, on the five-acre site of the weekday Alameda Produce Market).

About Glenn Shelhamer
I am Glenn Shelhamer, broker of The Shelhamer Real Estate Group and founder of Silver Lake Blog. Over the last 15 years I have helped buyers and sellers navigate real estate throughout Los Angeles’s Eastside, from smooth transactions to complicated ones.
If you love this part of town enough to live in it, call me. I know which streets and which houses are worth it.
Back in 2015, Glenn Shelhamer started the Silver Lake Blog (SLB), and it quickly became the go-to place for everything happening in Los Angeles – from the latest news and cultural happenings to the ins and outs of the real estate scene.
Fast forward to 2023, and we’ve given SLB a major upgrade, making it even better for keeping up with what’s happening in the central region and Northeast Side of Los Angeles.
At SLB, we bring you all sorts of cool and interesting stuff. Whether it’s the big events everyone’s talking about, little things happening around the community, the hottest topics in town, or showcasing some really unique homes, we’ve got it covered.
And let’s not forget, we’re part of The Shelhamer Real Estate Group – these guys are known as one of the top real estate teams in the U.S. So, stick with us at SLB for all the latest and greatest from the heart and soul of LA!”
