If you’ve ever dreamed of sipping boutique wines while watching the sun set over the Los Angeles skyline, the Barnsdall Park wine tasting 2025 is your golden ticket. And the best part? This beloved summer tradition is curated by none other than Silverlake Wine, our neighborhood’s go-to shop for expertly selected bottles and small-batch gems, and a highlight among Silver Lake Wine Tastings. From June 6 to September 26, 2025 (excluding July 4), the west lawn of Olive Hill transforms into an open-air lounge. Here, right in front of Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic Hollyhock House, Los Angeles’ only UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll enjoy a one-of-a-kind Hollyhock House wine tasting experience. Whether you’re a local searching for the best summer things to do in Silver Lake or exploring Silverlake Wine events in Los Angeles, this evening series offers the perfect blend of culture, wine, and unforgettable views of the city. The amazing poster art was done by local artist Eric Junker. Eric, beyond a talented muralist, also designs some of Silver Lake Winery’s beautiful and popular bottle labels. Check them out HERE

Silverlake Wine Events Los Angeles: What Makes It Special
- The Wine: Each week features artisanal selections from Silverlake Wine. Expect boutique labels, small producers, and pours you won’t find in your typical grocery store.
- The Views: Spread out on your blanket, glass in hand, as the city lights begin to glow. Landmarks like the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory become your backdrop.
- The Vibe: Local DJs set the tone with eclectic mixes, while a rotating lineup of food trucks offers everything from wood-fired pizza to gourmet tacos.
The Art: Inside the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery (LAMAG), explore exhibitions like COLA 2025, zine pop-ups, video projections, and interactive art nights—open to all wine tasting guests.
As always, 100% of the proceeds for this annual fundraising series produced by Barnsdall Art Park Foundation support programming within Barnsdall Art Park. More than ever, this event will provide essential funding to help sustain Barnsdall Art Park as the City of Los Angeles’s newly proposed budget cuts would devastate our beloved Park and put much of the site’s cultural programming at risk.
For the final month, each Friday comes with its own flavor, both in the glass and in the speakers:
- Sept 5 – The Passion of Buenos Aires: Tango, Cumbia, Cuarteto paired with Argentine wines.
- Sept 12 – Sunset in Paris: French jazz meets French wines.
- Sept 19 – Feast of San Gennaro: Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Louie Prima alongside Italian wines.
- Sept 26 – Summer’s Gone: California beach sounds with West Coast wines to close out the season.
