Fiesta Hermosa Arts and Crafts Festival:
The largest FREE arts & crafts fair in Southern California with over 300 artists and crafters, including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewelers, sculptors, and handcrafters. The festival takes place in downtown Hermosa Beach, with the ocean as a backdrop. Activities include two stages of live music, popular Charity Beer & Wine Garden, Kiddie Carnival + petting zoo, and tons of FOOD vendors!!!

Hansen Dam Aquatic Center (Valley):
A pool that looks like we’re at the beach?! (minus the 2 hours traffic jam to get there)..sign us up! Oh, and water slide included.

Rose Bowl Aquatic Center (Pasadena):
Beautifully nestled in the trees and enough pool for lap swimming, diving, or just relaxing with the kids.
$2 adults, $1 for 17 and under during Family Swim hours; $12 for adults, $9 young adults and seniors during Lap Swim hours
Stoner Park Pool (Westside):
This pool is perfect for the kiddos; as there’s slides, a wading pool that’s barely four feet, and jungles of fun fountains.

LA84 Foundation/John C. Argue Swim Stadium (Expo Aquatic Center):
Feel like an Olympian in this leftover Olympic ’84 pool in DTLA Exposition Park. Get your butterfly stroke on in the morning and hand out with the family in the afternoon recreation time.
