Angelenos aren’t waiting for river restoration – they’re taking it into their own hands one trash bag at a time at Friends of the LA River’s 28th annual Great LA River CleanUp: La Gran Limpieza!
One of the best ways you can help preserve the present and future health of the LA River is by joining a clean-up effort. FOLAR and nearly 10,000 of its closest friends team up each year to beautify the entire length of the river – the largest urban river clean-up in America!!!
This coming weekend is the kick off CleanUP in the Sepulveda Basin. And if you can’t make this weekend, don’t worry there are TWO more opportunities to come out and support.
Go to FOLAR for more information and to REGISTER. It’s FREE. It’s a great Family Event. It’s a wonderful way to educate on the importance of keeping our beautiful LA River clean.
